overindulgentgirl: For many Chicagoans, like myself, it’s that time of the year in the windy city when it’s far from below zero temperatures, Santa isn’t here, asking if you were naughty or nice, and we finally get to take that much needed break from shoveling our cars out from 10 inches of dirty snow.  (Side note: One year my Jeep sat covered, snowed in on the street, for a week in a half until it finally melted off.  Lazy?  Nope, more like: Don’t care to throw my back out just to drive 5mph to the 7-11 down the block).   Chicago Street Fest Season is here and it’s the young adult version of Christmas in June!  Here is a list of some of the biggest and well known street fests for 2012.
